Ans: Conrad asked his sister if any old legends were associated with the castle they had come to occupy.

Ans: The rational explanation for these strange events is that the castle was situated in the forest which abounded in Wolves. They could naturally come near the castle and howled. It was sheer confidence that they howled when the governess was about to die.

hassan hussain the answer to question 11 is that
the legend attached to the cernogratz legend is that when one of the cernogratz family died in the castle the wolves came from far and near and howled at the edge of the forest just before the hour of death and the dogs of the castle and village and all the farms round would bark and howl in fear and anger at the wolves chorus , and as the soul of the dying one left its body a tree would crash down in the park
the legend was proved right when Amalia Von Cernogratz died in the very castle of the family that night the wolves howled and a tree crashed but when the Baroness mother-in-law died nothing such happened because she was not a cernogratz
